During the vice-presidential debate on Tuesday night, the NBC Politics Twitter account fact-checked the vice presidential candidates, stating Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R.) was wrong three times but only saying one of Sen. Tim Kaine's (D., Va.) statements "wasn't entirely true."
The first fact check that was tweeted called out Pence for fudging the university's name who is hosting the debate. Pence mistakenly thanked Norwood University instead of Longwood University.
