Hero Child Rewarded for Hatred of Penguins

Philadelphia Flyers reward kid for his disgust of Sidney Crosby

January 7, 2015

A child has been rewarded by the Philadelphia Flyers for his hatred of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Over the Christmas holiday, little Kohlsen Fisher received a Sidney Crosby jersey. Having been raised right as a Flyers fan, Kohlsen immediately rejected the abomination and yelled, "Ew!" Video of his reaction went viral, with more than a half-million views, and the Flyers organization got wind.

Fisher received a special gift pack from Flyers captain Claude Giroux himself, which included a signed Giroux jersey, signed puck, Flyers beanie, Flyers glasses, and tickets to a Flyers game this weekend where he will get to meet the players.

This is all further proof that a healthy hatred of the Pittsburgh Penguins is proper and will likely be rewarded with awesome prizes. Good on you, Kohlsen Fisher.

Here is the video of the kids utter disgust at the sight of Crosby's Penguins jersey:
