What Is Claire Talking About?

Sen. Claire McCaskill may not be exactly clear on what she's been voting on in the Senate.

In her Thursday debate against challenger Rep. Todd Akin, the Missouri Democrat included Syria twice in a list of countries to which Sen. Rand Paul (R., Ky.) has pushed to end U.S. aid.

"Ads are being run about me right now about voting no on the effort to remove foreign aid from Pakistan, Libya, and Syria," McCaskill said.

Rand PAC, a  political action committee run by Paul, recently began running ads against a handful of Democrats -- including McCaskill -- on their votes against his plan to end U.S. aid to Pakistan, Libya, and Egypt.
