If book advances are any indication, Monica Lewinsky may be a more attractive option to the publishing world than Hillary Clinton.
The former White House intern is reportedly receiving a hefty payday for her memoir about her fling with the cigar-loving former president, which dwarfs that of Secretary of State Clinton. Lewinsky’s steamy tell-all may draw a $12 million advance—50 percent higher than the $8 million Simon & Schuster paid the former first lady for her memoir and only $3 million less than former President Clinton’s advance for his memoir.
While Hillary’s stand-by-your-man attitude evoked sympathy and led to a stint in the Senate, a failed presidential bid, and her current job as Secretary of State, Lewinsky’s notoriety has made it hard for to find work. The tell-all will reportedly reveal details of Clinton’s sexual proclivities and her abortion amid the affair.
