Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter said Wednesday that campaign officials "have always taken Wisconsin seriously," which is why President Obama is in Wisconsin Monday, in an interview with the Ed Schultz Show.
One problem: Obama is not in Wisconsin.
The president spoke in Iowa Monday, and will be there the next two days campaigning.
ED SCHULTZ: I wanted to ask you about Wisconsin. Does this put more pressure on the Obama team and intensify the race in the Wisconsin?
STEPHANIE CUTTER: You know, we always have taken Wisconsin seriously. The president is up in Wisconsin right now, and I think for a really good reason.
Schultz did not correct Cutter, nor did she correct herself in the rest of the segment.
