An anti-Semitic member of the far-left "Squad" will deliver a response to President Joe Biden's State of the Union address on Tuesday.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) will criticize moderate Democrats, such as Sens. Joe Manchin (W. Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.), for not passing Biden's Build Back Better agenda, a social spending and climate bill worth trillions of dollars. She will also call for an executive order that cancels student loan debt, according to an outline of her speech shared Wednesday with Politico. Tlaib is among a group of lawmakers who successfully stripped $1 billion in missile defense funding for Israel from an annual government spending bill—four months after Israel's conflict with Gaza.

Since entering Congress in 2019, Tlaib has promoted anti-Semitism on social media, celebrated groups with ties to the Taliban and Hamas, and accused Israel of "war crimes." In September, she called Israel an "apartheid" state on the House floor as the chamber debated funding for Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system. She was shouted down for it afterward by Rep. Ted Deutch (D., Fla.).

"I cannot allow one of my colleagues to stand on the floor of the House of Representatives and label the Jewish democratic state of Israel an apartheid state," Deutch said. "When there is no place on the map for one Jewish state, that's anti-Semitism."

Tlaib's decision to publicly oppose Biden is in keeping with her stance toward the president. During the 2020 election, she refused to endorse him after he accepted the Democratic Party's nomination.
