Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif.), the once-formidable candidate who has been slashing campaign staff in a desperate bid to spare herself the humiliation of having to drop out before the Iowa caucuses in February, attempted to bully a rival candidate during Wednesday night's Democratic primary debate in Atlanta.
Harris, who was brutally owned by fellow candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D., Hawaii) during a previous debate after Harris mocked Gabbard for her single-digit poll numbers, lashed out at the congresswoman for "criticizing the Democratic Party."
"It's unfortunate that we have someone on this stage that is attempting to be the Democratic nominee for president of the United States, who during the Obama administration spent four years full time on Fox News criticizing President Obama," Harris said of Gabbard, who had just defended her comments criticizing failed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Gabbard ably stood up to Harris's bullying, accusing the senator of resorting to "lies, and smears, and innuendos because she cannot challenge the substance of the argument that I'm making."

Harris is currently polling at just 4.3 percent in the RealClearPolitics polling average and is tied with Gabbard at 3 percent in the most recent poll of likely Democratic voters in Iowa.
