In previously released text messages, the FBI agents frequently discussed their distain for candidate and later, President Trump. Both worked at one point on special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
The newly released texts, reported by Fox News early Wednesday, include an exchange about preparing talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey to deliver to President Barack Obama about the probe into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.
According to one message sent from Page to Stzok on Sept. 2, 2016, Obama wanted "to know everything."
Fox News notes that according to a newly released Senate report, the text raises questions about Obama's personal involvement in the Clinton email investigation.
