Republican committees continue to outpace their Democratic counterparts across the board, according to new reports filed with the Federal Election Commission this week.

Leading the charge was the Republican National Committee's February haul of nearly $20 million, which brings its fundraising since the beginning of the year to $29.3 million. The Democratic National Committee brought in just over $6 million in February, bringing its 2017 total to $11.4 million.

The RNC came into the year with a cash advantage and now has $29 million more than the DNC. In addition to its cash on hand advantage, the RNC also carries no debt, compared to the $2.8 million in debt still carried by the DNC.

The cash in hand advantage comes despite the RNC outspending the DNC by over $4 million in the first two months of the year.

Republicans also carry advantages at the congressional committee level. The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) brought in $9.3 million compared to just $7.5 million for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC). On the House level, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) brought in $20.5 million compared to $17.6 million for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

The committees both carry a cash in hand advantage.

Republican leadership says that the fundraising advantage is evidence that there is "energy and support behind the president's agenda."

"Voters are enthusiastic about the strong leadership from President Trump and Congressional Republicans, who are committed to keeping their promises to the American people," said RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. "It's clear we have energy and support behind the President's agenda to increase our Republican majorities as we deliver on the promises made to voters last fall."

Both the NRSC and the NRCC carry debt, but their debt is also exceeded by the Democrats. The NRSC has $15 million in debt compared to $19.3 million carried by the DSCC, and the NRCC's $4 million is less than the $8.5 million held by the DCCC.
