James Carville Acknowledges Hillary Clinton is 'Boring'

January 4, 2016

Democratic strategist and longtime Clinton devotee James Carville acknowledged Monday that Hillary Clinton is "boring" during an interview on With All Due Respect.

Carville appeared with his wife, GOP political consultant Mary Matalin, to discuss the dynamics of the 2016 race and the impact of Bill Clinton, who Carville helped elect in 1992, on the campaign trail.

Matalin derided Hillary as someone who could dress up like Catwoman, douse herself on fire, "and still be a boring candidate," part of the reason that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) was still a viable challenger to her candidacy at this late date.

"Well, she might be boring, but she didn't bankrupt any companies," Carville said, chuckling, referring to Donald Trump's checkered business past.

Other liberals have concurred on this matter with the Ragin' Cajun. The Free Beacon does as well, and it also has done analyses on Clinton's awkward interactions with members of the public, who by and large do not sniff her nine-figure net worth, and her uniquely strange laugh.

As of this date, Clinton remains the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination.
