Crews in New York City responded to a fire on the roof of Trump Tower on Monday morning, according to reports.

A New York Police Department spokesman told the Washington Post that authorities received a call of a one-alarm fire around 7:30 A.M. local time. The spokesman said there were no injuries and no evacuation was conducted.

While the police spokesman initially said there were no injuries, the Associated Press reported two people were hurt, one of them a civilian who sustained serious injuries, and a firefighter who had minor injuries.

President Donald Trump, who has a penthouse condominium in the 68-story Manhattan skyscraper, was in the White House at the time of the fire, according to his schedule.

Trump Tower served as his campaign headquarters and also was the site of The Apprentice, the NBC reality show Trump hosted.

NBC News reported it was an electrical fire.
