Clinton Falsely Claims All Her Speaking Fees Are 'Public Information'

Clinton: 'I give mostly free speeches'

When Fusion TV's Jorge Ramos asked Hillary Clinton if she would mind releasing payment information from the speeches she delivers at universities, Clinton told him all that information was already in the public domain, despite a recent example of one university refusing to disclose her speaking contract.

For some time, the University at Buffalo declined to disclose how much they had paid Clinton to speak, telling reporters, "Those agreements, including information about speaking fees, are not public information."

The $275,000 contract was finally released by the university after a non-profit research group requested it through the freedom of information law.

"Have you released the documents?" Ramos asked Clinton of her speaking agreements.

"I think it's in the public domain," Clinton replied. "All the universities that I've spoken at, are public information."

"What happens, which is interesting, is obviously I give mostly free speeches," said Clinton, who has earned $12 million since leaving the State Department . She later acknowledged she does also give speeches for "my own personal benefit."
