MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski on Monday condemned President Donald Trump for lying about having tapes of recorded conversations between himself and former FBI Director James Comey, calling him a 5 year old.
Brzezinski and co-host Joe Scarborough discussed whether Trump has audio recordings of conversations between himself and Comey to prove that Comey was lying during his testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Brzezinksi knocked Trump for acting like a child and lying about having "tapes."
"I'm not going to get personal, shrill, or over the top; I'm just not because it's totally boring," Brzezinski said. "It's like dealing with a five year old, and if you react to a five year old they get worse. So instead I'm going to say, yes, he's lying about tapes, just to string them along."
Brzezinski then did a parody of a teaser for Trump's reality show, "The Apprentice."
"This is more like, 'Next on 'The Apprentice,' are there tapes or no tapes? We'll be right back with the answer.' And then you come back from the break and they're like, 'Are there tapes? We'll let you know next week on 'The Apprentice,'" Brzezinski said.
