Vice President Joe Biden and his family Thursday met with Obama campaign bundlers at the White House for 90 minutes, reports Politico Influence.
Biden's attendance at the event, a reception for Obama for America campaign bundlers, was a surprise, according to Politico.
Among the attendees were Virginia gubernatorial hopeful Terry McAuliffe, Tim Broas of Winston & Strawn, Larry Rasky of Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications, and Jane Stetson, who sat on Obama for America's finance committee. Those four alone each raised more than $500,000 for the president's reelection campaign--a minimum of $2 million all together.
The meeting came the day before OFA announced its restructuring into "Organizing for Action," a tax-exempt 501(c)4 that will house the campaign's network and will be able to take in unlimited donations from individuals it is not required to disclose.
