Lena Dunham, who earlier this year declared Hillary Clinton’s campaign logo her "new tramp stamp," is standing up for Planned Parenthood after two videos surfaced of the organization’s officials discussing the sale of aborted baby body parts.

"Educate yourself on the reality of the attacks against Planned Parenthood," Dunham tweeted Wednesday morning, linking to an editorial published in the New York Times that slams Republican politicians for demanding the federal government defund Planned Parenthood in the wake of the video revelations.

"Planned Parenthood has stood by women and their families for nearly 100 years. Now it’s our turn to #standwithPP," the Girls actress wrote in a separate Twitter post.

The two videos, both recorded secretly and released by the non-profit organization Center for Medical Progress, show top officials at the organization discussing the sale of body parts from aborted fetuses.

In the latest recording, a Planned Parenthood official identified as Dr. Mary Gatter appears to discuss the sale of fetal tissue, talking about using a "less crunchy" technique in order to keep body parts intact and asking a woman posing as a buyer to name her price for said tissue.

According to the Times editorial shared by Dunham, the videos recorded by the Center for Medical Progress are nothing but a "dishonest attempt to make legal, voluntary and potentially lifesaving tissue donations appear nefarious and illegal."

"The politicians howling to defund Planned Parenthood care nothing about the truth here, being perfectly willing to undermine women’s reproductive rights any way they can," the editorial declares.

Several Republican politicians and presidential candidates called on the federal government to defund Planned Parenthood, which has received at least $27.8 million in taxpayer money just this year, following the release of the first video. Most Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, have remained silent on the issue.

In a video response to the second Planned Parenthood recording Tuesday, GOP candidate Carly Fiorina slammed Clinton for her  "deafening silence" on the issue.

"Democrats have always fought for a policy that says it is not a life until it leaves the hospital," Fiorina said alongside pro-life leaders. "Hillary Clinton has fought to preserve that policy."

Hillary Clinton has received more campaign cash from Planned Parenthood—almost $10,000 from nine different employees—than all of her Democratic rivals.

Dunham has been a longtime supporter of Planned Parenthood, even choosing to partner with the organization beloved by feminists for each event of her book tour last year.

In response to the first video showing the organization’s top doctor discussing the sale of aborted baby parts, Planned Parenthood Federation of America President Cecile Richards claimed allegations that the organization profits from the sale of fetal tissue are "not true."

Planned Parenthood also sent a letter to the House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton Monday accusing the Center for Medical Progress of waging "recurring, deceptive, malicious attacks" on the organization and editing the first video to mislead the public.

This response hasn’t stopped congressional Republicans from moving forward to defund the organization. On Tuesday, Rep. Diane Black (R., Tenn.) introduced the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, which would strip the organization of its taxpayer dollars.
