In his first speech to a joint sesssion of Congress on Tuesday, President Donald Trump referred to himself less than former President Barack Obama did in his first speech to Congress.
Trump said "I" 40 times and "my" 12 times during his speech, while Obama used "I" 68 times and "my" eight times, the Washington Examiner reports.
The less frequent use of the words could be an indicator of the Trump's willingness to work with Congress, versus plans to make moves unilaterally.
It is customary for new presidents to address Congress in a speech that is similar to the State of the Union in order to address their policy priorities for their term.
Trump's address to Congress has received widespread praise. A poll by CNN showed that 57 percent of viewers said that their reaction to Trump's speech was very positive. Almost 70 percent of the respondents said they thought Trump's speech moved the country in the right direction, and that they felt optimistic for the United States.
