President Trump appeared to poke fun at himself for a mistaken earlier tweet containing the made-up word "covfefe" on Wednesday morning, asking his followers to figure out that word's "true meaning."
Shortly after midnight, Trump sent out from his personal account @realdonaldtrump the tweet, "Despite the constant negative press covfefe" and nothing else. It looked like an aborted attempt to spell "coverage." The tweet was later deleted with no further explanation, but not before it became the subject of mockery online.

No doubt, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer will have to provide an explanation at Wednesday's briefing.
