President Donald Trump told the media Friday "You are going to be very disappointed when you hear the answer" about the potential existence of recordings of him and former FBI Director James Comey.
"You seem to be hinting there are recordings of those conversations," ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl said, to which Trump replied, "I will tell you, I'm not hinting anything. I'll tell you about it in a very short period of time."
"When will you tell us?" Karl asked.
"In a very short period of time," Trump said.
"Are there tapes, sir?" a journalist shouted.
"You are going to be very disappointed when you hear the answer. Don't worry," Trump said.
