Three Things Biden Needs to Make a Sentence: Noun, Verb, and Barack Obama

May 7, 2019

Former Vice President Joe Biden hasn't hesitated to name-drop his old friend President Barack Obama on the campaign trail.

Thanks in large part to his name recognition and popularity in the Democratic Party, Biden has opened a wide lead in early primary polling after entering the 2020 field last month.

Whether he's making jokes about telling Obama that passing Obamacare was a "big f—ing deal" and then doing the Sign of the Cross, making glib references to "my buddy Barack," or boldly declaring in front of Democratic audiences that Obama was one of the best presidents ever, Biden isn't letting anyone forget about his connection to Donald Trump's predecessor.
