British journalist and television personality Piers Morgan on Thursday boasted about wrapping up his interview with President Donald Trump, which he said is sure to make his friends in the media talk.
Trump sat down with Morgan for his first international interview since taking office during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the Guardian reported. The interview is scheduled to air Sunday on ITV, although clips will be shown on Friday's "Good Morning Britain."
After concluding the interview, Morgan tweeted that he was looking forward to his journalist colleagues criticizing it when it airs as the "worst interview in history." Morgan also said he knew those same journalists would be racing to "follow up all the news lines" from the interview, adding a winky face emoji.
"Looking forward to all my green-eyed media friends whacking me for the worst interview in history, as they simultaneously race to follow up all the news lines... #TrumpMorgan," Morgan wrote on Twitter.

Morgan has been outspoken about his friendship with Trump, who he got to know in 2008 when he won "Celebrity Apprentice" in the U.S.
Trump follows 45 accounts on Twitter, and Morgan's is one of them.
