The finalists are finally here: Obama inauguration co-chair Eva Longoria promoted Tuesday morning the three remaining contestants in the Lay's "Do Us a Flavor" potato chip contest on CNBC.
The contest, which Longoria has been promoting since last July, is down to three finalists: Chicken and Waffles, Cheesy Garlic Bread, and Sriracha.
Longoria has become a high-profile Democratic fundraiser in the past year, bundling more than $270,000 for President Obama's reelection, speaking at the Democratic National Convention, and working with the Futuro Fund, which raised $30 million for Hispanic outreach for Obama’s campaign.
The Obama administration has made a public campaign against childhood obesity with its "Let's Move!" program.
"We need you not just to tweak around the edges but to entirely rethink the products that you’re offering, the information that you provide about these products and how you market those products to our children," first lady Michelle Obama said in 2010. "What does it mean when so many parents are finding that their best efforts are undermined by an avalanche of advertisements?"
