Democratic Senate candidate Amanda Curtis confessed that Obamacare has driven up her healthcare costs during a debate with incumbent Steve Daines (R., Mont.) on Monday.
"I know that the ACA is not perfect," Curtis said. "I have traveled over 8,000 miles across the state listening to Montanans who are experiencing problems with delay of care and the costs of their insurance."
Curtis, who trails Daines by a margin of 19 points in the Montana Senate race, said she hopes to reach "across the aisle" to reform Obamacare and make it work.
"I actually have had the experience of having my healthcare plan rise in cost," Curtis said. "So I'm feeling that myself."
