The San Francisco-based "resistance" group that mobilized earlier this month for Missouri senator Claire McCaskill (D.) has scheduled three more events to support her campaign.

The group, Democracy Action, maintains a calendar of resistance events and says it's dedicated to "fighting the Trump agenda," a fight McCaskill has worked to distance herself from as she fights for reelection in a state Trump carried by 19 points.

The Missouri Democratic Party, however, teamed up on June 10 with Democracy Action to hold a phone bank in San Francisco for McCaskill and has decided to continue the partnership for more events.

The group has now scheduled four more phone bank events for McCaskill in July, according to its Eventbrite page.

Members of the California resistance are being called upon to contact Missouri voters on three consecutive Sundays in July, with two separate meet-up locations provided on the third Sunday.

The group says it is working "with the Missouri Democratic Party's Coordinated Campaign to help identify and mobilize Senator Claire McCaskill supporters for the November elections."

The McCaskill campaign did not respond to inquiries into its involvement in the California events.

The groups initial phone bank was planned in gratitude for McCaskill's decision to oppose Trump's pick for CIA director Gina Haspel, who was confirmed last month without McCaskill's vote.

"Senator Claire McCaskill is the most vulnerable Democrat in the Senate," the group wrote on Facebook last month. "That didn't stop her from bravely voting NO on the confirmation of Gina Haspel as CIA director. Courageous senators like Claire deserve our support!"

McCaskill has said her "job is not to fight Trump."
