Former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg criticized fellow Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden for his lack of executive experience in a Wednesday interview.
Speaking to MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle, the liberal billionaire said none of his rivals in the Democratic presidential primary have the experience to be president.
"I don't think any of them have the experience," Bloomberg said, before criticizing Biden in particular. "He's never been the manager of an organization, he's never run a school system."
"The presidency shouldn't be a training job," he said. "You need somebody who comes in and knows how to run an organization."
Bloomberg has come under fire for his treatment of women while leading his company, Bloomberg L.P. He reportedly told one woman to "kill it" when she announced her pregnancy. She and numerous other women filed lawsuits against Bloomberg and his company. Some of the cases have been settled outside of court with the women signing nondisclosure agreements.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) called on Bloomberg to release current and former female employees from their strict nondisclosure agreements. He has refused to do so.
Later in the interview, Bloomberg said he would support whoever wins the Democratic nomination, including Warren.
