Former vice president Joe Biden called Fox News host Chris Wallace "Chuck" at the end of their interview Sunday, right after Biden mocked President Donald Trump for calling him "Sleepy Joe."
Biden responded to Trump suggesting he was senile Saturday at the Conservative Political Action Conference, saying, "Is that the stable genius saying that?" and that he couldn't wait to debate Trump.
"We'll see who's sleepy," Biden said, referring to Trump's nickname for him.
Wallace thanked him for appearing on the show, to which Biden replied, "All right, Chuck, thank you very much."
"It's Chris," Wallace said.
Biden said he just "did Chuck," referring to Meet The Press host Chuck Todd.
"I tell you what man, these are back-to-back," Biden said. "I don't know how you do it early in the morning."
Biden made multiple Sunday show appearances following his landslide victory in Saturday's South Carolina primary, which he hopes will rejuvenate his campaign. It was his first-ever primary victory in his third presidential bid.
Making his first appearance on Fox News Sunday since 2007, Biden was pressed on his fictional story about getting arrested in South Africa while trying to see Nelson Mandela, as well as his recent gaffe where he said he was running for the Senate.
