TBS late-night host Samantha Bee predicted Wednesday whoever the Democratic presidential nominee is will "probably lose" to President Donald Trump next year.
The comedian used her "A" block on Full Frontal to break down the large field of Democratic presidential hopefuls, which includes 16 candidates—14 declared and two with exploratory committees. Not included: one "Jesus Christ, just make up your f—king mind already," for former Vice President Joe Biden, who's been mulling a bid for months.
"There you have it: 16 candidates, 15 will lose, while one, let's be honest, will also probably lose and we'll be stuck with this toilet monster for another four years," Bee said, in front of a picture of Trump.
The campaign was already exhausting her and made her want to "hide in a hole," Bee said, concluding the segment.
Bee isn't the only liberal comic to take a pessimistic view of next year's election. In a skit on Saturday Night Live parodying The Bachelorette last March, Kate McKinnon's Robert Mueller informs Cecily Strong's Becca that he can't prove collusion and Trump will probably be president another six years.
Bee, a staunch progressive who had to apologize last year after referring to Ivanka Trump as a "feckless c—t," took light jabs at the major contenders, such as teasing Sen. Cory Booker (D., N.J.) for not knowing what's in a margarita, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) for making "unsolicited phone calls" to her supporters, and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D., N.Y.) for releasing a depressing launch video.
She begged supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) to not blow up the show's mentions in a dig at the left-wing icon's famously bombastic online backers, and she also took a shot at former representative Beto O'Rourke (D., Texas) for telling Vanity Fair he was "born to be in it" ahead of his official campaign announcement.
"To which every woman who's ever run for office said, quote, 'Oh, f—k you,'" Bee said.
