Democratic U.S. Senators have a lot of explaining to do regarding their friendship with the notorious Jeff Sessions.
Before being narrowly confirmed as the country's new Attorney General thanks to unanimous Republican support, the former senator from Alabama was lambasted by such Democrats as Chuck Schumer, Al Franken, Tim Kaine, Cory Booker and Richard Blumenthal for his non-woke stances on civil rights, voting rights and more.
In fact, Schumer said Sessions being Attorney General "turned my stomach."
However, the same men also called Sessions a friend, respected colleague and workout buddy.
How could they call themselves compatriots of such a terrible man?
