Chris Cuomo, the disgraced former CNN journalist fired for colluding with his brother, disgraced former Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D., N.Y.), to smear sexual harassment victims, is back on television. Less than a week after debuting a new podcast, "The Chris Cuomo Project," the former host announced he was joining the NewsNation network.
Cuomo will host his own show on NewsNation, which typically gets around 50,000 viewers during prime-time hours—approximately 2.5 percent of the Fox News primetime audience. The disgraced journalist, best known for being a partisan hack, claimed (dubiously) that his new show would be devoted to "conversations that cater to common concerns and solutions rather than political parties or the political circus."
Most Americans understand that Cuomo is not a reliable source of information. For example, he recently said on his new podcast that journalists "don't usually share personal opinions," a claim easily refuted by video evidence. In fact, Cuomo routinely denounced former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party on CNN, while going out of his way to defend Democrats and boost his brother's career.
