'I eat no for breakfast'

Vice President Kamala Harris recently discussed the HBO comedy series Veep with former comedian Stephen Colbert. "There are bits of it that are actually quite accurate," she said without a hint of irony or self-awareness. "[Terrifying cackling sound]."

Like the Selina Meyer character in Veep, Harris is blessed with a preternatural ability to spout gibberish with the unwavering confidence of a far more competent politician. She "eat[s] no for breakfast," is very concerned about "climate mental health," and cackles manically to herself while urging her fellow Americans to "think about what might be in your medicine cabinet."

We invite you to enjoy these pearls of wisdom from a woman who remains one octogenarian heartbeat away from becoming the leader of the free world.
