Former FBI director James Comey said in an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper that he doesn't hate or even dislike President Donald Trump.
Tapper reminded his audience Thursday hat Comey has detailed interactions with Trump that made him uncomfortable, in addition to calling him unfit for office and his presidency a "forest fire."
"Ultimately you accepted Donald Trump's dinner invitation. You promised honest loyalty. You later agreed Michael Flynn was a good man," Tapper began.
"Now, you write that your experience in high school gave you a lifelong hatred for bullies. Do you think President Trump is a bully? Do you hate him?" Tapper asked.
"I definitely don't hate him," Comey said. "There are things he does that make me uncomfortable and I think are inappropriate that is somewhat like a bully-like behavior but I don't hate Donald Trump. I don't even dislike Donald Trump," Comey said.
