The hosts of ABC's The View did not take kindly to former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee (R.) calling them "irrational" on Thursday after he appeared on their show a day earlier.
Huckabee and his daughter, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, went on the show Wednesday to discuss President Donald Trump, among other topics. The next morning, the former governor spoke with Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo about his appearance on The View.
On @FoxNews at 9amet today to reveal bruises I got from @WhoopiGoldberg and @TheView crew yesterday when @PressSec and I were on. 😁

Huckabee explained that he thinks it is important for conservatives to appear on left-leaning programs to show "we're not afraid."
"We've got a position, we're willing to defend it, and, frankly, it juxtaposes our view and our spirit versus theirs, which is full of anger and irrational hatred toward the president," Huckabee added.
After playing the clip of Huckabee on Fox Business Network talking about his appearance, the ladies of The View attacked him.
"You know what, we really worked hard to do a fair interview and I resent that you would do that," Whoopi Goldberg said. "I resent that you would do that because you would never say that about Stephen Colbert, you would never say that about Noah, Trevor Noah."
Joy Behar said she found Huckabee's comments about the hosts and their attitude towards Trump to be ironic because of the "hurricane level, like Irma" hatred Huckabee had for former President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
"I think we're all very careful to be fact-based," Sunny Hostin added.
Behar said her argument that Trump lies "95 percent" of the time came from PolitiFact, which she called a "very, very objective organization."
"Stop calling people names," Goldberg said. "We didn't do that with you."
