The Daily Caller reported on Wednesday that hidden camera footage showed a staffer for Hillary Clinton, Wylie Mao, bragging about not only the ability to "grab" a co-workers "ass," but also the low bar of acceptable conduct allowed in the campaign:
The latest video from James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas shows Wylie Mao, a Hillary Clinton field organizer, bragging about being able to grab a "co-worker’s" ass and not get fired, which O’Keefe noted should ring a bell for anyone who has been following Donald Trump’s latest scandal.
"I think that the bar of acceptable conduct on this campaign is pretty, pretty low," he said at a bar in West Palm Beach, Florida.
"I don't get a shit, they are not going to fire me," he said.
He continued, saying that he'd have to grab his colleague's "ass like, twice" in order to constitute being fired.
The Daily Caller reported that next, a journalist asked Mao about the sexual conduct that's allowed within the Clinton campaign:
Later in the video, a PVA journalist approaches Mao — now wearing a different shirt — in a secondary location and asks, "Hey Wylie. I’d just like to ask you a little bit about the sexual conduct going on with the Hillary campaign. Is the bar pretty low?"
Mao did not respond. As of Wednesday morning, his Twitter account is now offline.
This comes at a time where Donald Trump has gotten a lot of heat for what he has characterized as "locker room" comments in 2005, when he made sexually explicit remarks that included discussing grabbing a woman's "p---y."
Clinton had the following to say about Trump's comments about women.
"But I think it's clear to anyone who heard it that it represents exactly what he is. Because we've seen this throughout the campaign. We have seen him insult women. We've seen him rate women on their appearance, ranking them from one to 10. We've seen him embarrass women on TV and on Twitter. We saw him after the first debate spend nearly a week denigrating a former Miss Universe in the harshest, most personal terms."
