Clinton: I’ve Created a Lot of Jobs in the ‘Conspiracy Theory Machine Factory’

September 6, 2016

Hillary Clinton told the press Tuesday on her plane to Tampa, Florida that she has created several jobs in the "conspiracy theory machine factory" that surrounds her candidacy while discussing attacks on her during the general election.

She referenced the FBI’s investigation into her private email server as one of these theories.

"You know, the FBI resolved all of this," she said. "The report answered all the questions. The findings included debunking his [Donald Trump’s] conspiracy theory."

Clinton then touted her success in creating jobs in this conspiracy theory field that opponents have created around her.

"I believe I have created so many jobs in the–sort of, conspiracy theory machine factory because honestly they never quit, they keep coming back," she said. "And here’s another one. It’s been debunked."

Clinton said earlier in her responses to the media that there is a different standard she is held to, as opposed to Trump.

The Democratic nominee has suggested before on the campaign trail that she is always held to a different standard from other candidates.

Clinton added that she cannot speak for what "they" want to do when they launch these attacks against her.

"I think they should have learned the lesson from this campaign," she said. "Why did someone come from the outside and seize their nomination who had never been in public service before with the kind of record that he [Trump] has of bankruptcy?"
