A man attempted to impress his date early Tuesday morning in Pittsburgh by jumping between two rooftops and ultimately got himself stuck between the two buildings.
The man and woman met at a nearby location when the former decided to show off for his date by taking her to a rooftop and attempted to leap from one building to another.
The police were called to the scene around 2:00 a.m., when, according to local station KTLA, "rescue workers dug a hole through the wall of a local Qdoba restaurant, breaking through brick to try to reach the man."
After several hours and rescue workers breaking through multiple layers of the wall, the man was freed with only an injury to his ankle.
The rescue was live tweeted from the Pittsburg Public Safety Department account.
