House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) was forced to defend an altered photo her office posted on its official Flickr account Friday morning.
Her office edited in four missing women in the original photograph. In her press conference Friday, she blamed the cold weather on the missing members.
According to Pelosi, the digitally enhanced photo is an accurate historical record of female Democratic members of Congress.
