CNN's Brooke Baldwin is under fire for comments made on Tuesday that laid blame for the outbreak of riots in Baltimore on veterans who come back from war "ready to do battle."
Baldwin apologized for her comment on Wednesday, but veterans including decorated Marine hero Dakota Meyer are still piling on.
"[Veterans] are ready to stand for our nation just like we always have," wrote Meyer. "Maybe you should consider doing the same!"
Your right @BrookeBCNN we are ready to stand for our nation just like we always have. Maybe you should consider doing the same!

Before apologizing, Baldwin attempted to explain that she was just "repeating a concern vocalized" to her and that it was not her opinion.
