Central Intelligence Agency contractors Mark "Oz" Geist and Kris "Tanto" Paranto said that they immediately knew the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was a terrorist attack in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.
"Why are they lying about what happened that night?" Paranto asked. "Why are they misleading people when we knew the truth, and we passed it along to our superiors at that time as well?"
Geist and Paranto have spoken against the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi attacks from the beginning. Their account of what happened that night is profiled in the book, 13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened In Benghazi.
The contractors appeared on Hannity Wednesday to urge the administration to finally tell the truth about why four brave Americans were murdered that night.
"It was misleading," Paranto said. "It was not the truth."
