State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf took to her Twitter account Thursday to lash out at Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, who Harf accused of lacking "intelligence & class."
Harf was responding to an O’Reilly Factor segment on Harf’s colleague Jennifer Psaki, who came under fire for flippantly referring to Fox News viewers during her daily briefing Thursday.
Pskai was criticized for demeaning to those who watch Fox when she smirked in response to questions asked by Fox News reporter James Rosen.
Harf, upset at the attacks on Psaki, took to Twitter to express her frustration.
.@statedeptspox explains foreign policy w/ intelligence & class. Too bad we can't say the same about @oreillyfactor: http://t.co/n1I5B6kheF

While the State Department appears to have a strategy for rebutting Fox News, it has struggled to express a concrete plan for how to stop the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL or ISIS), which continues its terror campaign across the Middle East.
