Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) sharply criticized the Obama administration's interim nuclear deal with Iran Tuesday on Fox News.
Graham, appearing on On the Record, characterized the deal as "swiss cheese" and said it offers the Iranian leadership multiple ways to continue their enrichment program.
The South Carolina senator highlighted a point of dispute between the U.S. and Iran over what constitutes "research & development" on centrifuges.
When this disagreement is taken into account with Hassan Rouhani's tweet today, Graham said, it is difficult to ascribe anything but hostile intentions to the rogue nation.
Host Greta Van Susteren proceeded to ask about a Los Angeles Times report suggesting the U.S. has made a secret side deal with Iran. Graham noted he and Sen. McCain (R., Ariz.) have wrote to Secretary Kerry asking if this report is in fact true.
The hawkish senator concluded he does not believe the Obama administration actually has a strategy to stop Iran's nuclear enrichment program. "I don't think this administration really has an end game of stopping the enrichment program. They are just trying to reduce it. If you are Israel, could you live in peace with the idea that the Ayatollahs have capability to turn uranium into bomb material? I couldn't."
