Lady Justice is blind, but sometimes she's also a man with a patriotic ringtone who shuts down leftwing prosecutors.
Judge Bruce Schroeder, the Kenosha County Circuit Court judge who oversaw the spurious murder trial against Kyle Rittenhouse, is not only a potential Supreme Court nominee under the next Republican president, but a Washington Free Beacon Man of the Year.
Over the course of several weeks, Schroeder made sure Rittenhouse received a fair trial after he tried to defend Kenosha, Wis., from rioting perpetrated by the far left. At times, that meant berating Kenosha assistant district attorney Thomas Binger for trying to deprive Rittenhouse of his constitutional rights—likely the only way he could score a guilty verdict.
"Don't get brazen with me," Schroeder shouted at Binger after he tried to use the fact that Rittenhouse exercised his right to remain silent as evidence of his guilt.
Schroeder was responsible for getting the bogus weapons charge dropped against Rittenhouse after forcing prosecutors to admit that he was not carrying a short-barreled rifle on the night he shot and killed a pedophile and domestic abuser.
When MSNBC attempted a jury intimidation scheme by following them home and potentially trying to take their picture, Schroeder banned the network from the courtroom for the duration of the trial.
While sticking up to a corrupt media, an out-of-control prosecution, and a president who ludicrously surmised that Rittenhouse was a white supremacist, Schroeder made sure the courtroom applauded the defense's witness, Dr. John Black, for being a military veteran.
Should Schroeder retire, he almost certainly has a future in stand-up comedy, blending his keen sense of humor and deep knowledge of current events, such as the Biden-induced supply chain crisis. Before dismissing the court for lunch, he remarked, "I hope the Asian food isn't on one of those boats at Long Beach Harbor."
