Trump Steamrolls Bill Clinton's Past Behavior With Women

October 9, 2016

Donald Trump lit into Bill Clinton's sordid past behavior with women during Sunday night's presidential debate with Hillary Clinton.

Moderator Martha Raddatz asked Trump about a video that surfaced on Friday of Trump making sexually suggestive remarks about women, including a remark about grabbing them by the "p---y." Trump called it "locker room talk" and said that he wasn't proud of his remarks. Trump then turned his aim on Bill Clinton.

"If you look at Bill Clinton, far worse, mine are words, and his was action," Trump said. "His was what he's done to women. There's never been anybody in the history of politics in this nation that's been so abusive to women."

Trump then pointed out a few women in the crowd who have alleged that Clinton acted inappropriately toward them, including one, Juanita Broaddrick, who said Clinton raped her in the 1970s.

"Hillary Clinton attacked those same women and attacked them viciously. Four of them are here tonight," he said.

Trump then mentioned a woman in the room, Kathy Shelton, who was was raped at 12 years old and whose attacker was defended by Hillary Clinton. She later laughed about knowing that her client was guilty but getting him off on a light sentence in a recording obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

"What President Clinton did, he was impeached, he lost his license to practice law, he had to pay a $850,000 fine to one of the women, Paula Jones, who's also here tonight, and I will tell you that when Hillary brings up a point like that and she talks about words that I said 11 years ago, I think it's disgraceful and I think she should be ashamed of herself if you want to know the truth," Trump said.
