President Donald Trump tweeted Sunday that it was "unfair" to "crazy Bernie Sanders" that Hillary Clinton colluded with the Democratic Party to win the nomination last year.
Hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee last year revealed coordination among top party officials, including then-chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.), to help Clinton defeat Sanders in the 2016 cycle. Schultz was ultimately forced to resign her position in July.
Clinton faced an unexpectedly strong challenge from Sanders in an overall weak field for the 2016 nomination. She ultimately clinched the nomination and got Sanders' endorsement. However, Sanders has been vocal in his criticism of the party for how it handled the nomination process and for its poor results in recent elections.
Hillary Clinton colluded with the Democratic Party in order to beat Crazy Bernie Sanders. Is she allowed to so collude? Unfair to Bernie!

Trump used the word "collude" for a reason.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller is currently running the federal investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, which has also included questions about collusion between Trump campaign officials and the Russians. Trump has also reportedly fallen under investigation for obstruction of justice.
