White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said a question at Friday's briefing about whether President Trump is "out of control" was "frankly offensive."
A reporter relayed the words of an unnamed FBI official responding to Trump's tweet that morning about recently fired FBI Director James Comey. Diverging reports from the Comey and Trump camps have emerged this week about their private conversations, such as whether or not Trump asked for Comey's loyalty to him.
James Comey better hope that there are no "tapes" of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!

"I talked to a former FBI official today who said that the president's tweet, the implicit threat to former FBI Director James Comey, indicates that the president, in his words, is simply out of control," a reporter said. "I'd like to get you to respond to that. Is he?"
"That's frankly offensive," Spicer said, moving on to another questioner.
