Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough has had enough of presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and said Thursday that he would not vote for Trump unless he changes.
"I'm never going to vote for a guy who says they are going to ban somebody because of the god they worship. And he's got to have to make that turn fast. He didn't do it yesterday. Maybe he does it over the next couple of weeks," Scarborough said.
In the segment noted by Politico, Scarborough said that he was disappointed that Trump continued to stand by his ban on allowing Muslim refugees into the country.
The MSNBC host along with co-host Mika Brzezinski have allowed Trump to appear on their show since the announcement of his presidential campaign, facing accusations that they are too friendly with the billionaire. The duo have constantly reminded their audience that they had predicted that Trump could have a significant effect on the race when he entered last June.
Scarborough pointed out that Republican National Convention in July is going to give the American people more of an opportunity to look at Trump.
He added that Trump would have a hard time winning the presidency against Hillary Clinton if his poll numbers remained the same in August. In a new CNN/ORC poll, Clinton has a double-digit lead over Trump, 54 percent to 41 percent.
