MSNBC Host Stephanie Ruhle Tells Trump to 'Bring It on' With Tweets

June 6, 2017

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle said Tuesday that she wished President Trump was watching the show.

Ruhle first read a tweet that Trump sent out earlier in the morning in which he castigated the media for criticizing his Twitter use.

She then had a message for the president.

"I just want to point out, Mr. President, and I hope you're watching, I don't mind your tweeting," Ruhle said. "In fact, I quite like it. Bring it on!"

Directly after her appeal to the president to continue tweeting, Ruhle mentioned that Republican House members want Trump to tweet less. She also said she knows people at the White House are "desperate to take his smartphone away."

Within ten minutes of asking if the president was watching, Ruhle said to the camera, "I want to put a message out to Don Jr., if you're watching."

Ruhle closed the segment by saying, "It's confusing to me who exactly is on your team and who isn't."
