MSNBC: Clinton's Fainting Spell Couldn't Come at Worse Time for Campaign

September 12, 2016

MSNBC correspondent Kristen Welker said Hillary linton's fainting spell on Sunday could not have come at a worse time for her campaign amid tightening polls between her and Donald Trump.

Welker talked about how Clinton's fainting spell raises issues for both her health and how it affects the campaigns as she reported from near Clinton's home in New York on Monday.

"I think some Democrats are going to try to spin this. They're going to say, ‘Look, this shows how strong she is. Think about what she did on Friday after she was diagnosed,’" Welker said. "She attended two fundraisers, she convened a two-hour meeting with a national security team, she held a press conference, which I attended, she also gave an interview to a major television network. So that's what she did after she was diagnosed but you could also say it raises questions about judgment, clearly the doctors saying she needed to scale back her schedule.

"Worth noting, that she has released more information than Donald Trump, but right now this is what folks are going to be focused on and they're going to want more information about it, and obviously could not come at a worst time for this campaign as the polls are getting a lot tighter."
