Mika Brzezinski: 'Stop the War on the Media Right Now–Fake News, Fake Presidency'

February 27, 2017

Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," on Monday castigated the Trump administration for its treatment of the media, calling on President Trump to "stop the war on the media right now" while accusing his presidency of being "fake."

"Fake news, fake presidency, that's just what its going to come down to," Brzezinski said.

Monday was not the first time Brzezinski has criticized Trump for having a "fake presidency." Earlier this month she tweeted that Trump needs to succeed for the country's sake but has "crossed the line too many times."

"This feels like a fake presidency," she wrote.

Brzezinski also accused Kellyanne Conway, counselor to the president, of spreading "fake news," announcing that "Morning Joe" will no longer have Conway on the show.

"I won't do it because I don't believe in fake news or information that is not true, and that is every time I've seen her on television, something's askew, off, or incorrect," she said earlier this month.
