Kellyanne Conway Explains Her 'Absence' From TV

President Trump's counselor Kellyanne Conway on Fox News Wednesday denied allegations that she was "sidelined" from press appearances, arguing that she shouldn't have to explain her decision to abstain from TV appearances while she's trying to balance her career and her role as a mother of four children.

Conway said during an appearance on "Hannity" that she didn't go on television for a few days because she was looking at houses and schools with four children.

"I don't think I have to explain myself," Conway said.

"A lot of my colleagues aren't trying to figure out how to be a mother of four kids, I assure you," she added.

Conway also pointed out that Trump is president and should be the one getting the spotlight. She also said that "he is his own best messenger, we don't need to be out there all the time."

CNN reported that Conway was "sidelined" from media appearances after she said on television that former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn had the president's "full confidence." Flynn resigned from his post within hours of that statement.
