Former Democratic Party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton tweeted a message to her followers on Tuesday telling them to purchase a "Nasty Woman" t-shirt to help support Planned Parenthood and late-night television host Samantha Bee.
During the third presidential debate in 2016, then-candidate Donald Trump called Clinton a "nasty woman" when she insinuated that Trump does not pay taxes.
CLINTON: Well, Chris, I am on record as saying that we need to put more money into the Social Security Trust Fund. That's part of my commitment to raise taxes on the wealthy. My Social Security payroll contribution will go up, as will Donald's, assuming he can't figure out how to get out of it. But what we want to do is to replenish the Social Security Trust Fund ...
TRUMP: Such a nasty woman.
A few months later, it would appear that Clinton has embraced the term "nasty woman." The former first lady tweeted out a photo of herself holding up a "Nasty Woman" t-shirt, with a caption calling on her followers to buy one.

The link in Clinton's tweet directs people to the TBS store where they can purchase the shirt for $25. The description for the shirt says that proceeds will go to the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County.
"By getting this exclusive 'Nasty Woman' shirt, you're joining Samantha Bee and countless other smart, fearless women and men in supporting Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County, standing up for women's (aka, human) rights, and helping to pave the way for a brighter future," the description reads. "This is such an incredible time in our country's history. Don't you want to look back on it with pride, knowing that you helped make a difference? We do! Join us and let's make it happen."
Vanity Fair published a piece on July 6 telling people to stop calling Samantha Bee's show, "Full Frontal With Samantha Bee," liberal.
