Drew Carey's Son: Mystery Kid Behind 'Screw Our President' Interview Outside Pro-Trump Party

January 26, 2017

A Fox News correspondent interviewed a young kid last week outside the National Press Club after a small fire was ignited.

Donald Trump supporters were gathered at the National Press Club for the "Deploraball" party hosted by MAGA3X, a grassroots social media movement that helped elect Trump president. However, there were many protesters outside yelling at and heckling the attendees.

A fire was set on the street, reportedly setting Trump-related items ablaze.

Footage of the fire showed a crowd surrounding it, including a young boy flipping off the camera. Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins asked the boy about the fire.

"My name is Connor and I kind of ignited this fire," the boy said.

Jenkins asked why he started the fire.

"Because I felt like it and I'm just saying, uh, screw our president."

Following the interview, the boy ran back into the crowd and disappeared. Following the incident, the video went viral on the internet, causing many viewers to wonder where his parents were.

TMZ reported on Thursday that the young boy was in fact the son of the famous "Price Is Right" host and comedian Drew Carey.

News footage of the boy went viral after the inauguration eve protest in Washington, D.C.–and we've confirmed it was 11-year-old Connor behind one of the night's most memorable moments.

A source close to Drew tells us Connor got caught up in the emotions of the crowd around him, and he was in hot water afterward. We're told Drew and Connor's mom were upset about how he expressed himself to the reporter, and talked to him about his language.

Connor "regretted his choice of words" following a conversation with his parents, the source told TMZ.
